1.1 Candidates seeking admission to Post-Graduate Programmes in Communication or Management must have completed an undergraduate degree course (Graduation) from a University/Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission. Or they should be studying in the final year and are scheduled to appear for the final exams.
1.2. Any deviation in the prescribed Eligibility Rules under Para 1.1 should be first referred to RPICM by the intending student, ascertaining his/her eligibility for seeking admission to the courses. Such students are advised not to take admission unless their eligibility in such cases, has been confirmed by the RPICM.
1.3. There are courses or components of some of the courses, which are open for admissions,
for non-graduate students, as certificate courses. There are separate courses for High School students as well.
2.1. The application for admission to the College as well as for enrolment in the Rajendra Prasad Institute of Communication and Management must be submitted in the prescribed forms to the Principal/Director of the College concerned on or before the prescribed date as notified.
2.2. These applications must be accompanied by copies of the Marks Certificates, and the passing certificate of the qualifying examination issued by the recognised University or its
constituent college and valid ID proof (Aadhar card, Pan Card, Driving Licence and so on).
2.3. The latest copy of a passport size photograph should be affixed on the form, with the signature of the student concerned on each of them.
2.4. Prescribed fees should be paid at the time of the form submission.
2.5. It is the responsibility of the candidate to satisfy himself/herself that he/she conforms to
the eligibility norms prescribed by the RPICM.
3.1. The medium of instruction for all Programmes being conducted by the RPICM Centres or affiliate colleges, shall be English, unless specified by them for a particular course.
3.2. The students opting for language Journalism or some of the courses with the option of
language, might still continue to receive theoretical instructions in the form of lectures through the medium of English.
3.3. Their practical classes in respect of subjects such as editing, reporting, writing, etc. may be conducted by well-known expert journalists in the particular language (regional language) for the benefit of those candidates.
