This course is designed to prepare individuals for a career in geriatric care and health aide services, with a focus on understanding the unique needs and challenges faced by the elderly. Students will learn essential caregiving skills, gain knowledge about common health issues in older adults, and develop a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Academic Schedule
- Total Sessions – 150 hours
- Evening and weekend classes
- Teaching calendar – August- March
Internal evaluation is based on attendance, class work, assignments, exams, project work, vivas, and presentations
Attendance- minimum 75% attendance (per subject) is compulsory
